Juliana and A Soul Purpose

Juliana Logan is a 17 year old singer songwriter from Davenport, Ia. She was selected by the Central Iowa Blues Society to perform at the International Blues Challenge Youth Showcase in Memphis, TN this past January. She has done countless performaces for her hometown charities. She has opened up for Anthony Gomes, Lissie, Toronzo Cannon. She was in the top 4 finalist for the 2015 WQAD River Roots Live contest as the youngest and only solo performer. Last year was the 1st runner up for the Iowa Blues Challenge Preliminary in Fairfield, Iowa in the solo/duo division. She had played in the Jr Jam tent for River Roots Live, and the Mississippi Valley Blues Fest. She began her melodic journey participating in The RME Rock Camp, Lessons, Winter Blues Camp, open mic nights, and song writers in the round for the past 7 years or so. She has been blessed to say she has had the privilege to share the stage with local celebrities such as Ellis Kell, Los Mocambos, Natty Scratch, Tina and Brandon, David G Smith and so many more..Her musical influences are Etta James, B.B King, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin.
Haley Teel is one of the vocalists for ‘Juliana and A Soul Purpose’. She is 18 years old and from New Windsor, Illinois. She is active in theatre and short film work around the Quad Cities. She has also been active in vocal lessons for 3 years. She has been playing with ‘Juliana and A Soul Purpose’ for roughly 8 months.
Cloey Schultheis is a 15 year old sophomore at Louisa-Muscatine High School. She has been playing the bass for almost a year and has played the guitar for 2 years. He favorite musicians are Miranda Lambert and Dixie Chicks. Her hobbies include, Cheerleading, making music, fishing, showing goats, and singing.
Matthew DiIulio plays drums and percussion for Juliana & A Soul Purpose. He was born with a sense of natural rhythm and started playing on pots and pans at the age of 9 months . He has slowly worked his way up in music and continues to gain valuable experience today. He is a John Phillip Sousa Band Award winner and has participated in many Quad City Solo & Ensemble competitions. Matthew has accepted a music scholarship from St. Ambrose University and plans to minor in music. Whenever you see him, you will always notice a slight tapping of the foot because his rhythm never dies.
Tommy Davies is on keyboards and has been playing the piano for 11 years. He is currently a student at Black Hawk College studying to become an Elementary Education major. Besides going to school he enjoys playing tennis, reading, studying politics, working out, and dog training, and spending time with my many friends. The two people who completely shaped his musical prowess would be his dad, and his piano teacher: Earle Johnson. His musical influences range from J.S. Bach to Bruno Mars, and his favorite genre of music is doo wop
Austin Michael Wanfalt is on guitar, and is from Wappello,Ia. He has been playing guitar for 5 years. My influences come from blues/rock artists such as Slash, Peter Frampton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. His only hobby is, but of course playing guitar.
